The Boxcar Ellis console unit takes its design from old railway rolling stock and is a flexible storage unit that can be used as a media unit, credenza, bar cabinet, etc.
The industrial design and construction using heavy gauge steel and wood coupled with heavy duty castors make the unit a unique furniture piece that is suitable for either a home or commercial setting. We see the Boxcar Ellis unit being used in a contemporary home in the living room, study or home office, dining room or even at work in the office. Two steel mesh doors and 2 shelves enable the unit to house complete entertainment systems with cable preparation already cut in the rear of the unit.
